• Provide and operate the VidCortex: AI Video Social Growth service.
• Generate videos and related marketing assets on your request.

No AI training: VidCortex: AI Video Social Growth does not use merchant images, product data, or generated outputs to train or fine-tune our own foundation models without your explicit permission.

3. Third-party AI Processing & Cost Liability

We use third-party AI services (including Google Veo and Replicate) to generate videos. By using this service, you acknowledge that your uploaded images and prompts are transmitted to these providers.

Important Billing Notice: These third-party providers (specifically Google Veo) charge for processing requests based on "execution," not "successful output." If a generation fails due to AI policy filtering, safety blocks, or model errors, the provider still retains the processing fee. Consequently, VidCortex: AI Video Social Growth cannot refund credits for these failed attempts as the underlying data processing costs are non-recoverable.

We may process public data from social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram) via third-party providers (like Apify) to identify trending audio and visual concepts. This data is used solely for analytical purposes to improve generation prompts and is not linked to your personal shop identity unless explicitly requested.

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. Generated videos may be stored for a limited period to support downloads and troubleshooting.

Upon receiving Shopify's Shop Redact webhook request, we will delete or anonymize applicable shop data within 48 hours.

If you are located in the EEA/UK, you may have rights under GDPR, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Shopify may send us mandatory GDPR webhooks (Customers Data Request, Customers Redact, Shop Redact), and we process those requests in accordance with Shopify requirements.
